Providing Feedback
How to use the beta feedback widget to report issues, suggest improvements, and share screenshots.
During the beta, a feedback button is available on every dashboard page. Use it to report bugs, suggest improvements, or share anything you notice - the team reviews every submission.
Finding the Feedback Button
A blue circular button with a message icon appears in the bottom-right corner of your screen on all dashboard pages. It has a subtle pulsing glow to make it easy to spot.
The first time you load a page, a brief welcome prompt may appear asking how things are going. You can dismiss it or click through to open the feedback form.
Submitting Feedback
Step 1: Open the Form
Click the blue feedback button. A panel appears with a text area and action buttons.
Step 2: Write Your Comment
Describe what you noticed. Good feedback includes:
- What you were trying to do - the task or goal
- What happened - the unexpected behavior, error, or confusion
- What you expected - how you thought it should work
Feature requests and general impressions are welcome too.
Step 3: Add a Screenshot (Optional)
Click the Screenshot button below the text area. The widget briefly hides itself, captures your screen, and shows a full-screen preview of the screenshot.
In the preview, you can:
- Edit your comment in the text area at the bottom
- Retake the screenshot if the page changed
- Remove the screenshot if you prefer to submit without it
Step 4: Submit
Click Submit. You will see a brief confirmation, and the form resets - ready for your next submission.
Moving the Button
The feedback button is draggable. Click and hold it, then drag to any position on the screen. Your position is remembered across page loads.
If the button is covering something you need to interact with, just drag it out of the way.
What Gets Captured
Each submission automatically includes:
| Data | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Your comment | The text you wrote |
| Your name and email | From your account profile |
| Page URL | The page you were on when you submitted |
| Screenshot | Only if you clicked the Screenshot button |
| Timestamp | When you submitted |
Tips for Helpful Feedback
- Be specific - "The industry dropdown has 50+ unsorted options" is more actionable than "this is confusing"
- One issue per submission - submit separate items so they can be tracked individually
- Use screenshots - they show exactly what you are looking at, which often reveals context that is hard to describe in words
- Note what you expected - sometimes the gap between expectation and reality is the most useful signal
